Systems change requires philanthropy to flex new and different muscles— combining new approaches to leadership with the development of skills to build complex partnerships, and invest in shared communication strategies; systematic data gathering, sharing, and analysis; and most importantly, thoughtful attention to issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Over the course of many engagements examining the successful components of place-based systems change investments, Equal Measure and our partners have distilled highly useful findings for our clients.
