Shaunise has a background in operations, human resources, and diversity and inclusion strategy. She brings deep experience from the nonprofit and legal fields to Equal Measure.

Shaunise leads the infrastructure and processes that support Equal Measure’s mission and strategies, including talent, human resources, information technology, and operations. She also plays an integral role in guiding the strategic planning, organizational learning, culture, and initiatives that advance Equal Measure’s commitment to racial equity and intersectionality.

Prior to Equal Measure, Shaunise served as Chief Operating Officer for the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging. In that role, she developed operational systems, programs, and annual budgets that encouraged collaboration across the organization. Shaunise began her career in human resources, where she managed employee relations, recruitment, training, benefits, and local policy development. She holds a master’s degree in human resource management from Strayer University and human resources certifications from the Society for Human Resource Management and Villanova University.

Her love of food and travel! She enjoys a wide variety of cuisines and planning her next vacation destination. Shaunise also enjoys catching up with friends and family; reading a good book (all genres); and, of course, spending time with her three beautiful daughters.
