Selena Lilly
Contract Consultant
Selena has a strong background in data management and a deep commitment to social impact. She plays a crucial role in strengthening grassroots and community-based groups in New York City as Director of Data Management at TakeRoot Justice. Selena oversees TakeRoot’s data-related workflow processes, quality assurance, and training, while driving storytelling and outcome development to inform strategic decisions and foster positive change in the community. At Equal Measure, she works on the project team for Robin Hood’s Mobility Learning and Action Bets (LABs), a four-year initiative that invests in New York City and beyond to increase mobility from poverty.
Selena’s diverse experience includes contributions to cognitive psychology research and efforts to bridge the technology education gap for low-income communities at Per Scholas, a national nonprofit that provides technology education, training, and job placement services to individuals in low-income communities to break the cycle of poverty. She was also Policy Coordinator for Economic Development at the Roosevelt Institute.
Selena recently completed her master’s degree in evaluation and applied research at Claremont Graduate University. She is a New York City native and proud Bronxonian.
