The Change Our Client Seeks

The Partnership for the Future of Learning is a diverse network of education and social justice field leaders from 100 organizations and 18 foundations across the country. The Partnership strives to protect, strengthen, and advance education equity and meaningful learning—and support the policies and practices that further such efforts. The long-term vision of the Partnership is to reimagine the way public education is viewed and delivered in the United States—to more equitable and high- quality standards.

The Role We’re Playing

The Partnership engaged Equal Measure, along with ORS Impact, as evaluation and thought partners to assess the development and strength of the Partnership Network as well as the implementation and impact of its core strategies. Specifically, we aim to:

• Document the Partnership’s work to date and its impact on a national scale.
• Set up learning and evaluation processes and build capacity among the Network.
• Inform the Partnership’s North Star of education reform.

The Results Thus Far

The intended results of this engagement are to activate a diverse network of supports for education reform with a co-created and co-owned vision to:

• Develop tools and capacities to advance a shared policy framework.
• Strengthen and amplify the Network’s voice through a shared story/narrative change with a strong racial equity focus.
• Protect, advance, and learn from aligned state and local reforms.
• Support teaching and learning strategies for results at scale.
